Officine Taiocchi’s sheet metal cutting department carries out third-party processing using dedicated machinery and specialized personnel, ensuring precision and quality in every type of operation, from prototyping to production batches.
The processing services available in the cutting department include:
- Grinding and satin finishing: our MA2 CVC 1150 grinding-brushing-satin finishing machine removes burrs, rounds edges, and produces satin finishes on parts up to 1150 mm wide and with thicknesses from 0.8 to 160 mm. This process is essential for achieving surfaces ready for painting or delivery.

- Rolling: we perform sheet metal bending to create cylindrical and conical shapes, suitable for structural components and cladding.
- Insert installation: we press-fit self-clinching nuts, bushings, and studs into the sheet metal.
- Punching: we process sheet metal using dies and punches to create holes, shapes, and formed features according to the client’s drawings.
- Beveling: we prepare the edges of the sheet metal for the subsequent welding stages, ensuring perfect joints.
- Blanking and cut-off operations: we cut sheet metal and profiles to obtain custom-sized parts.
The cutting department’s operations are integrated with the laser cutting, bending, and welding departments, enabling a continuous production flow and reduced lead times.
